Welcome
Kinglake, comprising forest, farmland and National Parks, is
situated 65km north east of Melbourne in the Kinglake Ranges,
part of the Great Dividing Range. The Kinglake Ranges vary in
height from 525m-610m above sea level. Many areas of Kinglake
overlook the Melbourne sky line to the south west and the Yarra
Valley Wineries to the south. Kinglake is generally 3 degrees
colder than Metropolitan Melbourne with summers being very
pleasant and heavy frosts and occasional snowfalls during
winter.
The
Kinglake Olive Grove is located 1.9km from the main township and
approximately 550m above sea level. The Grove size is
approximately 2 acres, north-south facing aspect and on a slight
incline providing excellent drainage. The Grove was planted on
the 11th and 12th of October 2002, with One Hundred and Seventy
Three Trees, consisting of Manzanillo, Corregiola and Sevillano
varieties.

Flowering has begun. Most trees are budding and the grove
will soon be a sea of white flowers.
